Coffee Cure to Prevent Diabetes?
According to a study presented at a meeting of the American Diabetes Association by Frank B. Hu, MD, PhD.
Four to five cups of caffeinated coffee a day can cut diabetes risk by 30%. Drinking more has no added benefit. Decaffeinated coffee has only a slight effect. Tea has none. Other caffeinated beverages, such as cola, were not studied.
Please note: Additional study is required before researchers can recommend coffee specifically to protect against diabetes.
